While not necessarily the most visually stimulating process in the world, the practice of pairing lyrics with a video thumbnail on YouTube is one of the easiest ways for fans to make sure they’ve been singing the right lyrics all along! Of course the lyrics are printed in the liner notes of every physical release, but for those fans who have only heard a certain song on the radio, this is a wonderful option.

Where this practice becomes interesting is when the lyrics scrolling across the screen are horrorcore lyrics, because they are more often vulgar than not. Horrorcore lyrics exist to horrify, hence why they are called horrorcore lyrics. Through morbid, vulgar, and sometimes murderous dialogue, those who write horrorcore lyrics do so because they know there are fans out there who enjoy the sensation of dark, twisted, horrorcore lyrics.

The number one place to find these type of horrorcore lyrics on YouTube is through the Psychopathic Video official YouTube channel. Psychopathic Records, the record label that is home to many artists who write horrorcore lyrics, uploads all individual artists’ videos to their Psychopathic Video channel for fans of horrorcore lyrics to observe.

Some of the most popular Psychopathic videos of all time now live on the Psychopathic Video YouTube channel, such as videos from ICP, Twiztid, ABK, Boondox. When added, the total amount of views on all of these Psychopathic videos probably totals in the hundreds of millions. Shows you just how many fans there are or horrorcore lyrics in the world!

It’s one thing to hear horrorcore lyrics, and it’s quite another to see them acted out through video, as can be seen on Psychopathic Video’s YouTube channel. For example, take a look at some of the Blaze videos present on the Psychopathic Videos channel. Blaze videos are often in black and white, and Blaze videos tend to always get the message across when the camera zooms in on his face, covered in crazy clown paint, maniacally rapping.

There are a few blaze videos on the Psychopathic Video channel that scroll his horrorcore lyrics across the screen, giving fans the chance to see just how vulgar he can be. Sometimes it’s a good thing that blaze videos are left to audio only! With song titles like “10 Bodies” and “Dead Body Man”, it should come as no surprise that many of the Blaze videos depict murder scenes and their aftermath.

There are also a series of live Blaze videos on YouTube, which is fun for those who don’t think they’ll ever get the opportunity to see a real-life Blaze video happen right in front of their eyes. Thanks to the Psychopathic Videos channel on YouTube, now you can have every official Blaze Video right in front of your eyes.

Furthermore, Blaze videos do exist in the Hatchetgear online merchandise store, but only the feature films that he’s been a part of like Big Money Rustlas. Hopefully some time in the future there will be Blaze videos of his music videos for sale in the store!

Think horror rap is the next big musical genre? Want to don some horror rap clothing to prove you were an early adopter?  Chances are you’ll inevitably be led to the Horror Rap capital of the Internet, hatchetgear.com.

It would be foolish to assume that you’re big into horror rap but don’t know anything about horror rap duo Insane Clown Posse, because they are without question the forefathers of the growing genre. That said, your first choice will probably be aimed at some ICP clothes. However, as you’ll soon realize, there is too much to choose from!

ICP clothes in particular, there are pages upon pages of choices for shirts alone. All sizes, colors, graphics, styles, etc. The same goes for other types of ICP clothes. But is a surplus in variety of ICP clothes a bad thing? I suppose if you’re a collector, then seeing so many ICP clothes options might just motivate you to further your collecting.

However, there is one deficiency in the offering of ICP clothes online: Insane Clown Posse concert shirts! Despite the fact that there are a myriad of ICP albums and sayings scrolled across all types of ICP clothes you can imagine, finding Insane Clown Posse concert shirts is difficult, which is a real shame.

The concert t-shirt has been an inextricable part of modern music ever since the modern concert began trending in the 50s. Concert t-shirts, and Insane Clown Posse concert shirts are no exception, are such a hot commodity because they are one of a kind. Traditional ICP clothes can be purchased for a very long period of time, and sometimes forever.

For instance, some of the ICP clothes available right now is still promoting ICP albums that came out in the mid 90s. However, Insane Clown Posse concert shirts only exist on one tour from beginning to end. Because of this unique trait, they are more expensive and more sought after than other ICP clothes.

Let’s take the most recent horror rap tour that ICP was a part of, for example. In the 90s, the guys toured the country on the Amazing Jeckel Brothers tour with a number of other horror rap artists. Each Insane Clown Posse concert was well received by Juggalo fans, and probably moreso after they wre able to purchase an Insane Clown Posse concert t-shirt that commemorated them being there. An Insane Clown Posse concert shirt from that event today would probably be worth hundreds of dollars.

Of course there have been other horror rap tours since then and there will continueto be horror rap tours in the future. The high-demand for Insane Clown Posse concert shirts being understood, it might not be a bad idea to at least release some ICP clothes that, while not official Insane Clown Posse concert shirts, at least hint that a purchaser was interested in ICP at the time of the concert!

There is clearly a wealth of money to be made from combining Insane Clown Posse concert merchandise and ICP clothing. Would you agree?

ICP clothes are quite popular and offered in a variety of styles and sizes, but Insane Clown Posse concert shirts are hard to come by, unless you were at a show. To learn more about ICP clothes, please visit http://www.hatchetgear.com/bands/icp.html.

It’s a crazy thought to think that it’s been almost 20 years since Violent J first uttered the word “Juggalo” on stage at an ICP concert in regards to the ICP fans in attendance. If you in the family underground back then when it when down, then you’re definitely an adult Juggalo by now.

Cherish that notion, because not many people can say they’ve been around any family underground for nearly 20 years. Such long term membership in the family underground is especially noteworthy if you managed to collect any ICP merchandise from the early days!

Let’s rewind for a second. What’s the family underground? What is an adult Juggalo? If you’re unfamiliar with either, that first paragraph might have been more than a little lost on you. First off, a Juggalo is a fan of horror rap group Insane Clown Posse. The term Juggalo was first uttered by Violent J on stage while performing in 1994.

Seeing how Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope were barely in their 20s by then, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if most Juggalos at the time were not yet adult Juggalos. However, anyone who was at that fateful show is definitely an adult Juggalo today. As we’ll discuss later, there’s nothing wrong with being an adult Juggalo who’s over the hill! After all, J and Dope are pushing 40.

Secondly, the family underground is the term used to refer to the larger Juggalo collective. Adult Juggalos, teen Juggalos, rich Juggalos, poor Juggalos, black Juggalos, white Juggalos,  it doesn’t matter. If you feel connected to the ICP movement and misunderstood by anyone who wouldn’t be caught dead wearing ICP merchandise, then you are a part of the family underground.

And don’t feel silly if you’re an adult Juggalo! Just because most Juggalos are on the younger side – after all, this is how the cycle of music fans goes – doesn’t mean there’s plenty of ways to sport your family underground pride, especially with ICP merchandise.

There are plenty of ICP merchandise items in the online ICP merchandise store that are designed for adult Juggalos. We can skip over the novelty ICP merchandise items like funny t-shirts, but other ICP merchandise that might be taken more seriously by adult Juggalos are items such as the collared sport shirt, the collectors items like comic books, and the slew of media available like books, vinyl, CDs, and DVDs.

Adult Juggalos will most likely be particularly fond of the ICP merchandise that tells their story as they see it, like the Behind the Paint book that dates all the way back to their beginnings. Stories told like this make anyone who is part of the family underground feel connected to the bigger picture. It’s really great for adult Juggalos who have been there since the very beginning!

The family underground consists of adult Juggalos, young Juggalos, poor Juggalos and rich Juggalos. To learn more about the merchandise available to all in the family underground, please visit http://www.hatchetgear.com/bands/icp.html

ICP tours might not be as legendary as the annual Gathering of the Juggalos festival, but ask anyone who’s been lucky enough to live in a city that hosted an ICP tour stop and they will tell you about the mayhem.

But don’t worry if that will never be you because you live in a place that has never and will never be home to an ICP tour stop or any number of naked Juggalettes, because Juggalo pictures are so ubiquitous that all you need is a quick Google search to at least catch a glimpse of what goes on at a traditional ICP tour stop.

Many Juggalos have been at ICP shows where Juggalettes are invited on stage, but there haven’t been any instances yet where naked Juggalettes take the stage. Not yet, at least. Given the amount of naked Juggalettes at GOTJ every year, it wouldn’t’ come as a surprise if Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope found a way to have security let them incorporate naked Juggalettes into the party. More on naked Juggalettes in the GOTJ section below.

Some of the more memorable ICP tours include the American Psycho ICP tour, which was Psychopathic Records’ biggest label tour ever. Horror rappers with cult followings such as Blaze Ya Dead Homie and Twiztid were brought along for support on this ICP tour, and a good number of Juggalo pictures have surfaced showing just how epic the nights were.

ICP tours are one of the few tours left in the country that put good faith in stage lighting and other props for showmanship, and the Juggalo pictures from this tour go to prove it. There was a jumbo screen featuring the letters ICP in colorful displays while the guys did their thing on stage, as well as more complex things like pyrotechnics and fog machines.

Another well known ICP tour is that of the Amazing Jeckel Brothers in the late 90s. Of course there are great Juggalo pictures from this tour, but there’s more amazing Juggalo video. To make things as memorable as possible, Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope opened the show up with fog machines, flag bearers running around, and the same intense delivery we’ve all become accustomed to from these guys when they perform live.

There are Juggalo pictures of fans posing with other fans, Juggalo pictures of friends next to the gigantic ICP tour bus, Juggalo pictures of concert goers demonstrating their skill with ICP face paint, and every now and then you can find Juggalo pictures of special Juggalo activities like Faygo showers.

That said, no Juggalo pictures come close to those captured at the Gathering of the Juggalos every year.  Naked Juggalettes don’t do much photographing themselves, but naked Juggalettes are often photographed during the oil wrestling competition and beauty pageant.

Tila Tequila became the latest naked Juggalette to be photographed when she performed GOTJ in 2010! But, seeing how she was booed into being a naked Juggalette, she might not have been found as attractive to Juggalos as other naked Juggalettes are. Your thoughts?

Throughout ICP’s entire career, they’ve been ridiculed for being different, and often times harshly so. But at the same time, this renegade streak is the very reason ICP is the global horror rap juggernaut they are today.

But does the constant public ridicule ever get to their heads? Is there ever a point when Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope will say “enough is enough, let’s write some mainstream music?” It hasn’t happened yet, and it will probably never happen, but one of the closest instances had to have been during the time two years ago when Insane Clown Posse on SNL garnered much in the way of unwanted attention directed towards the song “Miracles” by ICP.

It all started when Insane Clown Posse and SNL (Saturday Night Live) got to know each other through a spoof SNL had conducted about the song “Miracles” by ICP. “Miracles” by ICP is a song in which the guys rhyme about the mystifying world we live in. How do magnets work? Where to Zebras and Giraffes come from?

Despite the fact that science has answered most of the questions put forth in “Miracles” by ICP, Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope decide to spend life wondering instead. Where’s the mystery in life if you know all the answers?

The Insane Clown Posse on SNL skit involved SNL comedians asking more ridiculous questions than J and Dope did in the original version of “Miracles” by ICP, and yes, when Insane Clown Posse on SNL was filmed, the comedians impersonating J and Dope were indeed wearing the trademark Juggalo face paint.

“Miracles” by ICP was intended to be a serious song that opened the minds of Juggalos everywhere, but when Insane Clown Posse on SNL aired, it was spoofed to make the guys look uneducated, to put it lightly.

Whatever the fall out may have been from Insane Clown Posse on SNL, or any other spoofing of “Miracles” by ICP done by other outlets, one questions remains: With new album Mighty Death Pop! slated for release this August, will ICP go a different route?

Both Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J have made it known how seriously they are taking the recording process of Mighty Death Pop!  In fact, both have vowed to not smoke cannabis at all during the Mighty Death Pop! recording process, which to some signals a change in direction. The tone of the album sounds different than “Miracles” by ICP already. Insane Clown Posse and SNL might not work together on Mighty Death Pop!

Are they trying to make Mighty Death Pop! a smart album after “Miracles” by ICP was so heavily ostracized? Are they concerned that they lost a little credibility after Insane Clown Posse on SNL went viral online?

Only time will tell – Mighty Death Pop! drops in 6 months!

“Miracles” by ICP was made fun of on Saturday Night Live 2 years ago, but was it severe enough to make ICP rethink their artistic direction with Mighty Death Pop? You’d be surprised at the creative fashion statements horror rappers are capable of making by putting all headwear (hair, bandana, cap, hat, etc.) parts together. The best part is, you can be the same way with all of the Psychopathic Records headwear available through their online merchandise store, hatchetgear.com.

Insane Clown Posse hats and other various ICP caps are the first things that come to mind when thinking Psychopathic Records headgear, as they should. After all, Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope were the forefathers of horror rap itself, and ICP’s cap in regards to how high they can scale the billboard charts is yet to be determined. Despite the fact that at one point in time both Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope both had long, flowing dreadlocks, they’ve made good use of various ICP caps over the years.

Shaggy 2 Dope had one look where, when he had short dreadlocks, he would let them hang over the top of an ICP cap headwear piece like a bandana. Psychopathic Records artist Blaze Ya Dead Homie sometimes wears a non descript flat-brimmed hat, but don’t be surprised if one day that turns into an Insane Clown Posse hat.

Undoubtedly, the most noted piece of headwear to be seen on any Psychopathic Records recording artist head is the cowboy hat on Boondox. It’s not at gangsta as the ICP caps or dark Insane Clown Posse hats seen on many Psychopathic Records artists, but it is Boondox’s way of showing his southern pride (he’s from Georgia).

For his part, Violent J has avoided Insane Clown Posse hats and other ICP caps, instead choosing to flare his hair with gel and color. However, if you search the Internet hard enough you will find one Insane Clown Posse hat that is nothing more than Violent J’s painted clown face.

So what about you? Any Juggalo can emulate one or all of these Psychopathic Records headwear styles on hatchetgear.com. There are ICP caps for the snow that are plain and simple, but if ICP caps aren’t enough to keep you warm in the winter, just keep scrolling until you get to the ski masks! They might not be as fashionable as ICP caps, but these ski masks will ensure that no part of your face is victim to frostbite and be fashionable at the same time.

Insane Clown Posse hats available in store come in several different colors and sizes. Some Insane Clown Posse hats feature nothing but the Psychopathic Records hatchetman on a plain background, while other Insane Clown Posse hats too feature the hatchetman but with a more cluttered background.

If you’re more interested in promoting the band with an Insane Clown Posse hat the displays ICP instead of the Psychopathic Records hatchetman, there are options for that too. And yes, the aforementioned Insane Clown Posse hat that is Violent J’s face paint can be found here as well.

As mentioned in earlier articles, ICP Gear is renowned for a reason. Never before has any hip hop artist built such a vast empire of merchandise to promote their musical career. Psychopathic Records artist Insane Clown Posse is one of the best at this in the entire music industry, and the product offering visible on hatchetgear.com proves why.

Before we get into the media-based ICP gear like Insane Clown Posse movies and CDs, let’s look at the basics. ICP gear like backpacks, bags, purses, and sunglasses are just a few of the items that, while not extremely unique, are a more unique merchandise offering than 90% of the other bands out there. Most of this kind of merchandise can be found for the majority of Psychopathic Records artists that are selling merch on hatchetgear.com.

For instance, Psychopathic Records super group Dark Lotus has similar items branded with the Dark Lotus name and logo, just like ICP has every day items branded with the hatchetman to make them official ICP gear.

When we move beyond this type of ICP gear is where things get really interesting. Still not talking about Insane Clown Posse movies, but how many bands can claim they have flags? Flags for their record label, Psychopathic Records? What about key chains? Lighters? Jewelry? Not many is the answer. But that’s not even the most unique ICP gear offering available through hatchetgear. That prize goes to the ICP comic books!

In another smart marketing move, this piece of ICP gear was released by Psychopathic Records and talks about how it was the dream of Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope to create their own record label, which is what we know today as Psychopathic Records. Marketing ICP gear and the record label all at once, both owned by the band. Brilliant!

What personality doesn’t come across in Insane Clown Posse movies will definitely come out when penned by one of the band members. Even Psychopathic Records artists that have intense imagery and storylines don’t venture there, that is unless that Psychopathic Records artist is Insane Clown Posse.

Last but certainly not least are the Insane Clown Posse movies up for sale on hatchetgear.com.  Now I know that not every band has the budget to produce a movie like the Insane Clown Posse movies, and that it’s not smart for any entity to spend that much money on a release like the Insane Clown Posse movies unless they have a robust budget to back it up. It goes without saying that the Insane Clown Posse movies were released because J and Dope knew they had the resources to do this and fans that would swallow up and Insane Clown Posse movie.

Similar to the Psychopathic Records / ICP comic book relationship mentioned above, I wouldn’t be surprised if Psychopathic Records owns the rights to the Insane Clown Posse movies too! Two of the Insane Clown Posse movies available for purchase here are documentaries: A Family Underground and Shockumentary. The other, Insane Clown Posse movie Big Money Rustlas, while not a documentary, is Just as entertaining to watch!

Mighty Death Pop is on its way out this May. Mighty Death Pop implies many things in the title, but the most obvious is that Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope hope the album to be a cog in the wheel of pop’s destruction. But while Juggalos and Juggalettes are pondering the meaning behind Insane Clown Posse’s new album’s title, this writer wouldn’t be surprised if Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope themselves, and Psychopathic Record label executives, weren’t secretly fretting over Mighty Death Pop sales. But could they fix this with ICP free songs?

The musical landscape has changed a lot since the last time an Insane Clown Posse new album came out. Fans of most music are no longer interested in purchasing whole albums like Mighty Death  Pop. Instead, our music market has turned into a singles culture, one where individual songs off Insane Clown Posse’s new album are destined to be more successful than Insane Clown Posse’s new album alone.

A gloomier prognosis would be that our music market has turned into a free music culture, where ICP free songs would be taken more than anything with a price tag.

In fact, many music industry experts would probably recommend that Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope release ICP free songs before the release of Mighty Death Pop. Doing so would undoubtedly generate some buzz around the Mighty Death Pop release, and put new music in the hands of Juggalos who have been more than hungry for Insane Clown Posse’s new album to arrive.

3 years ago, when Insane Clown Posse’s new album was not Mighty Death Pop, but instead Bang! Boom! Pow! was Insane Clown Posse’s new album, suggesting that ICP free songs be included on the new release would have been received poorly. But that’s because there hadn’t been enough time for the marketing minds in the music industry to properly process the power this idea could have.

Think about it. People like free things, and music is no exception. So when ICP free songs are released to run wild on the Internet, fans are going to swallow them up, and this act is going to lead to more and more and more fans doing the exact same. With their appetites just barely wetted for Insane Clown Posse’s new album with this ICP free songs experiment, Juggalos would be rabid for more to come on the actual Insane Clown Posse new album. Make sense?

Whether ICP’s management will take any risks like unleashing some ICP free songs when marketing Mighty Death Pop remains to be seen, but the bigger risk would not be trying anything innovative at all when marketing Mighty Death Pop. Here’s to hoping someone gives it a try!
